Congratulations to the FRAHA Midget Minor A's for a second place finish in the CCYHL league playoffs. The Panther's beat good teams from Foothills and Arvada to advance to the Championship game Sunday evening. The Panthers were just not able to get past a tough Boulder team. A couple of goals off of end board rebounds and an empty netter resulted in a 4-1 Panther loss. Great effort boys! Great season!

Our Pee Wee A's and Squirt A's start their playoff run this week. The Pee Wee A's open tomorrow night with a 6:00 PM game against Littleton. If you are anywhere near the Promenade tomorrow evening stop by and support these boys. This team got off to a 2-6-2 start to the season and fought their way into the playoffs. Impressive.

The Squirt A's take on Northern Colorado on NOCO ice at 4:30 PM on Friday the 12th. These boys have been a force all season finishing with an 11-2-5 record, just four points out of first place. Take it one game at a time boys and maybe we will see you at the Pepsi Center on the 21st.

Big Bear Ice Arena will host spring hockey programs beginning in late March. We encourage you to give these programs a look.

Big Bear's own Evolution Hockey is offering a 12 week program that begins around the 22nd of March. This program will offer 80 hours of on/off ice instruction as well as a tournament. More information can be found here. 

The Colorado Thunderbirds are offering spring programs at Big Bear as well.  The Thunderbirds offer a six week program which includes training with their staff and tournament opportunities. Details can be found here.
